The best thing about being a writer is that writing sometimes functions as the canvas for the artist. Not everyone likes all art and in the same way not everyone likes all writers or genres. I don't necessarily just write for others to read. I write because it's what I love to do. Those ideas that bounce around my head for days or months seem to work their way out when I sit in front of a blank screen and begin to type.
