Writingwriterwhoreads asked Lindsay Cummings:

I just edited one of my character's death scenes for the final time, on the least draft of my book and it brings so much pressure trying to perfect it before sending it off, any advice on writing death scenes?

Lindsay Cummings Make them believable. Emotional. Really make them count. Show how everyone else around the person who died feels about it. Are they happy? Sad? Are they in shock?
