I'm not sure if anyone has asked this, but got any tips of how to get your foot in the door to be published. Heck even tips on how to stay focused cause there's so many amazing books and then finding the time to write along with work in retail is like "can time stop please?"

Nenia Campbell Hi! I actually self-publish all of my own work which is nice because you can schedule all of your writing and book time outside of regular work hours. Staying focused is definitely hard, and when I was still in retail, I had a lot of problems finding the energy to stay motivated after long shifts too. :( I would usually write after work or on my day off, and when doing monotonous tasks, I would daydream about writing. You don't need to have a computer or a piece of paper in front of you to plot your books and it can make your job easier once you finally sit down to the task!
