Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Yaakov C. Lui-Hyden Diary of a Time-travelling Alien I really can't explain its origins. It was a mad story I first worked on 2 years ago during National Writer's month. Finished in lockdown before my 45th birthday.

Shaerlyn has been a work for some 13 years, based on work I started decades before that. I know it was around the time of Anne Rice and Stefanie Meyer and Vampires were all the rage. And I thought-why not Angels? ( Anne Rice later wrote a series with Angels but I haven't read them as yet.)
