In the paperback edition, the scene is cut. The heroine forces herself to watch and just says she's shocked that it happens. Other than that, the scene isn't described in detail.

Yes there is the scene is brief but it is discussed as a motivation multiple times. I was told it is addressed in later books but I haven't read past the first so far

Yes I would say there is in the beginning a very brief seine of a girl who was raped and it was very traumatic on her however after that we don’t really here much of her and I can’t remember her name nor did we get her back story so I can’t say it should disturb you to much because there’s not really any emotional connection to her. however there should definitely be a TW on this book.
There is another seine where the main character was SA by an alien but she brushes it off and isn’t traumatized in the slightest (witch by the way I didn’t agree on, a real person would act more scared)
