I know this is one of the most asked questions you get asked, concerning Wildwood #3 and that this is something that very much dependent on your publisher. Would you consider a scenario where you post a chapter in regular intervals and then self-publish when you have enough to make the book (similar to Ilona Andrews)?

Hi Jesse,
This just isn't the way I work - I take a long while to complete a manuscript and it's revised many times before I let it out into the world, so I wouldn't be happy to release any part of a novel until the whole thing was completed and polished up to publishable standard. It would take me the best part of a year to write and edit Wildwood #3, and during that time I wouldn't be able to write a different book for my existing publishers - I just don't work that quickly and I never do two major projects at the same time.
I do appreciate the suggestion! Someone else could make that work but it's not for me, sadly.

2025 has been the year of Marillier- I have happily devoured all your novels and can say it's truly been a pleasure to lose myself in the complex worlds of Blackthorn, Sorcha, and Neryn. These tales of hope and struggle are especially important in light of current world events. I adored the rich connection to the natural world and the cycle of life and death- is that lore something you were raised with or found?

Juliet Marillier:
Hi Juliet! I've just finished reading Tower of Thorns and am absolutely loving the Blackthorn and Grim series! They're starting to become one of my favourite characters from your books, and I never thought I'd like anyone better than Sorcha and Red! I had a question regarding Den of Wolves: has it been released in paperback yet? Had a look to buy it online in the UK but can only seem to find the hardback version.
