Can someone PLEASE explain what the heck was the deal with the scene where Alva stands him up and he goes to her house only to find her with some man? Her mother being there and asking if Jules wanted a juice or soda first, made it all the weirder. I kept waiting for some resolution about why she did that, and a couple of times they seem to be about to go there, only to veer away again.
