1)Strange that no one commented on Celicia's hair cut, or did they and I missed it. 2) Far as I remember no mention of whether the new beauty shop opened up or not, just that Birdie and Astrid married and took a trip-- or did I miss that too?

Also, I thought what happened to Elliott’s building was a big loose end that deserved tying up since it was a chunk of the book. Also, I really expected the Barbara storyline to be more artfully worked in. It was as if the author forgot to finish part of the book. (less)
