For the main characters (Porter, Bishop, Nash, Claire, Kloz, & Poole) we were given a brief description of how they looked. I understand that authors want the readers to create their own depiction on what they look like, but I am quite curious to know how you visioned them?! Are there any famous/known people that come close to what you pictured them looking like? Would love to see these books become a mini/TV series!

I learned long ago if I try to force a description on a reader, it can take them out of the story so I avoid that. I'm not sure my descriptions would really make sense - for instance, Sam Porter (to me) is a cross between Michael Keaton and Morgan Freeman. I pulled physical attributes, speech patterns, mannerisms, etc. from each of them. Who do you think best fits each character?

One of the things that drew me to your novel before I read it was that it was described as a mix between Se7en and The Silence of the Lambs. Did either of those novels/films inspire you in any way? If not specifically those, was there another source that kickstarted/impacted this novel idea? I teach Detective Fiction Studies and would love to share your response with my class! Thank you!
