SO much was on my summer reading list this year, and I’ve gotten through a good portion of it (although it is always expanding). Some highlights for me are other 2021 debuts: These Feathered Flames by Alexandra Overy, Sweet & Bitter Magic by Adrienne Tooley, and The Devil Makes Three by Tori Bovalino. I’ve also read and loved Mexican Gothic by Silvia Garcia-Moreno, Catherine House by Elisabeth Thomas, Burn Our Bodies Down by Rory Power, The Lost Garden by Helen Humphreys, and A Golden Fury by Samantha Cohoe.
Next up for me is St. Lucy's Home for Girls Raised by Wolves by Karen Russell, The Name of the Rose by Umberto Eco, The Year of the Witching by Alexis Henderson, and Death in Her Hands by Ottessa Moshfegh.
