I enjoyed this but was confused about the letters and how she knew where she would be after each jump to know where to leave them and what to warn herself about. She wouldn't know which year she was coming from, right? Also her Mother always seeming to know which year she would jump to each time. I'm probably analyzing a fun book too much.

She'd have to take notes/journal (which it sounded like didn't happen, aside from the portfolio) to remember enough to offer much advice.(less)
