Angie asked Philip Freeman:

Why did you change the wording of the letter written in Ogam from "Kildare-Michaelmas-Lorcan" (on page 118), to later be read out loud by Deidre to the abbot as "Armagh, Michaelmas, Lorcan" (page 192)? Why the change from Kildare to Armagh?

Philip Freeman Dear Angie,

"Mea culpa, mea maxima culpa" ("My fault, my great fault") as Sister Deirdre would have said in Latin. It should be "Kildare " in both cases. I proofread the text a dozen times but I missed my mistake. Thank you for pointing it out. I'll get it fixed for the paperback edition.

Best wishes, Philip
