How do you deal with writer’s block?

Sara R. Stewart Normally when I'm stuck on a project it is because I'm having difficulty connecting with my character. To fix this I brainstorm on paper about who that character is, ask them questions to find out what I think they should be. This usually helps me better understand their motivations and then I can get back to writing. My biggest block with writing is finding and making time. I never really have a problem putting words on the page, but sometimes I do have issues finding the right words.
