What’s your advice for aspiring writers?

Sara R. Stewart Write, don't edit. Stop re-reading what you have already written and fine tuning and write the rest of the story. Don't worry if it is good, don't worry if you need to fill in missing plot points just get it down and out of you. That other stuff you can work through on your first re-write. When someone gave me this advise it was my turning point from being an aspiring author to a published author.
