How did you come up with your series? And I've heard rumors that you're writing a fifth book. Id that true?

Hi there!
There will be seven books in The Unwanteds series. The fifth book comes out Feb 3, 2015 -- just a few months from now.
The inspiration for the Unwanteds came from my children. Here's a paragraph about it from my website: http://www.lisamcmann.com/about.php
THE UNWANTEDS: My kids have always been very artistic and creative, and when they came home from school one day and announced that their school arts programs were being cut, they felt like they were being punished for their creativity. I pitched the idea of a world where children really were punished for being creative to my son, Kilian, who was 12 at the time. His response? “Not just punished, Mom. Sent to their deaths.”

Hey Lisa, just curious, Are there any new books or book series your working on as of now? I absolutely loved The Unwanteds Series and I plan on reading the Wake Trilogy soon! I was also curious, what do you think about while you brainstorm characters? How do you get inspiration for their physical appearance, personality, and their possible friends?
