Did you ever plan to write a smooth transition book between 2 series, like Sarina Bowen regularly makes? (The Moonlighter, or the Trevi story, or the Beringers story) In case you would apply the same technic the readers could easily switch to the new storyline, and not brooding anymore over the old "world". (sorry for my English I am Hungarian)

Off-Campus & Briar U are probably the closest to a ‘cross-over’ series as I’ll get – once I’m done writing a series/world, I usually like to start new ones, so it can be a bit of a challenge to have characters from one appear in another.
