Thanks so much, Poppy! I love the idea of a prequel and have toyed with the idea of something short about Beryl and Edwina when they were together as girls at finishing school. Perhaps Beryl's solo adventures as an adventuress should be on my mind too!

I just finished listening to Murder in an English Village and found it a delightful read. Did you ever live in or travel to the UK to conduct research? Do you think research is sufficient for location or is it absolutely necessary to travel to the setting? My second novel takes place on the island of Bonaire in the Caribbean. I had planned to travel there for research purposes but the pandemic squashed my plans.
