This might sound silly, but I'm hoping to be able to plan and write a series myself at some point. So, I was wondering from the author's perspective did you find it difficult to get off your feet in building a new world and story? What were some of the challenges you faced? Also, thank you for reading this! I've recently finished Air Awakens and now I'm reading the Golden Guard Trilogy.

Thank you so much for reading and I'm SO SORRY IT TOOK ME A LITERAL YEAR to answer this question. I am the worst when it comes to answering Goodreads questions and am now working through a backlog...
Anyway!
It can be daunting to build a new world... but it's also really exciting. And I try to lean into the excitement. I think the biggest challenge I face when worldbuilding is keeping consistent with the rules I make and making sure they're both fascinating yet plausible enough that a reader doesn't have to suspend their disbelief too far.
I hope your writing has been going well these past months!

Hi! I noticed on your website that under the audiobook option for A TRIAL OF SORCERERS, you have listed that the timeline for release is TBD. Is that because you are in the process of developing the audiobook or because you are waiting to see how the sales are before committing to it?

Hi, Elise- another couple of questions :) 1) Where did you come up with the character names? They're really unique and I'm just curious about the origin. 2) In the books Vhalla is said to have dark brown hair but in the coverart it's light brown/blonde? 3) Do you ever go to anything like Geekycon or do appearances? I'd love to know how to get signed copies :)
