A Goodreads user asked Susan Stoker:

Do you have one editor that edits all your books, and how did you go about finding an editor or editors?

Susan Stoker I do. And she and I really work well together. She gives me some "good jobs" and "LOL's" in the story (I need some of that positive reinforcements) as well as the "fix this crap" lol
I did a lot of research before I found her. I looked at other books I read and Loved and reached out to those authors to ask who their editor was. I looked at her website and who her clients were and reached out to THEM to find out the real skinny on her. lol
It's not easy to find someone who will call you out on the stupid things you write and will tell you when something does work. You have to trust him/her not to mess up "your voice", but to tell you when to fix something. But when you do, you want to hold on with both hands and never let him/her go. (I've told my editor she can never give up editing. At least not before I hang up my writer's hat. lol)
