Hi Susan, I started reading your books on KU and have now gone back to the beginning series. Im having a hard time with reading order due to characters cross overs. I’ve just finished Ghost’s book & am dying for Fletch’s book with his neighbor/tenant he mentioned. However it seems like Rescuing Aimee comes first? Am I supposed to recognize the MCs in this? How does it tie in to the Delta Force World?

Susan Stoker Hi Bailey! You can read Rescuing Aimee if you want. It's a novella and you'll briefly see Annie (who is Emily's daughter). But you can also put it off and read it anywhere in the series. :) Confusing I know, sorry! It was a story I wrote after I wrote most of the books in this series. It takes place before Emily/Annie meet Fletch.

Hi I am doing a reread of your SEAL of Protection Series and I remember in Protecting Summer there was a women that was held captive with summer and was wondering if she has her own book I think I remember her being mentioned in another series but for the life of me I can't remember her name or book?

Susan Stoker yes! Beth! her book is Shelter for Elizabeth in the Badge of Honor series. She moves to TX to try to deal with what happened to her. :)

Hi Ms Stoker, I discovered your novels recently and love them! Since then, I'm on a total reading binge. I wanted to ask if there will be more box sets/omnibus editions? I love those because I can just keep on reading and not worry which book is next. For ex', only the first 4 Delta Force Heroes novels are available as a set. Will the rest follow? I get them via Kobo Germany. TY!

Hi Susan I’ve noticed that some of your characters appear in other authors books and I was wondering if Tex appear in Lexi Blake’s novels? Thank you so much!

Susan Stoker Hi Cassidy! He does not. It's a tricky thing to use other author's characters, because of copyright laws. I used her characters in Rescuing Sadie because we had a collaboration (with a contract) with 1001 Dark Nights for that project. BUT...for the record...I think Tex probably knows all Lexi's guys and would be an amazing asset! HA!

Hi Susan! Just finished Finding Ashlyn and am looking forward to Finding Jodelle. For some reason I thought Baker already had a book. Or maybe he played a substantial role in another book?

Susan Stoker Hi Terrel.Nope, Baker hasn't gotten his book yet. He HAS been in all the other SEAL Team Hawaii books though. And he did get a short story (In A Third Moment in Time) that talked about his ex. But Finding Jodelle will be his full-length story!

Hello Susan, your booka and Riley Edwards have shared characters, right? Because i started with her novels and was intrested in some other backstories and found out you actually wrote them. Do you coordinate the characters?

Susan Stoker Hi! Yes, in some books, both our characters appear. Riley has written in my "fan fiction" world, where authors use my characters in their books. She read my books first, and then incorporated my characters and plots into her books. And she did SUCH a good job! The books of hers that have some of my people in them are Red Team, Gold Team, and some of the Blue Team books! ~Susan

Hi Susan, I've read the first few of your Seal Team Hawaii books, and have to know, does Baker Rawlins have a book in one of your previous series? If not, will he have a book in the future?

Susan Stoker He'll have his book in the Hawaii SEAL series! You'll see a lot more of Baker in Finding Monica! :) But his book is coming!

Hi Susan. I love you books and those the coordinate with your characters. I know I read a series that starts with the team rescuing a fe mail pOW that later comes out for hand surgery, in one book the team member loses wife during delivery another has a purse snatched in a zoo lol. Such random facts but I know that other characters appear like Caroline’s crew for babysitting etc? Do you know what series that is?? Th

Hello Susan: I just finished “Shielding Ember,” and I want to write a short review (I looved this couple). I’m glad a WOC, specifically a black woman, was written as a main character. Of your many books, is this the first WOC you’ve written? Can we expect more WOC featured as a MC in future books? Thanks!

Susan Stoker Thank you! Yes, this was my first main character who was a WOC. I loved writing her and did my best to make her as authentic as possible. And yes, I'd love to incorporate more into my stories! :)

Is there any correlation between the Rex, Leader of the Mountain Mercenaries and the Rex from Seal of Protection: Legacy Series (Securing Avery)? Or was this just a coincidence?

I just found you via my Kindle Unlimited subscription. The first series I read was the Silverstone Towing series and and now reading the Ace Security series. Is the Delta Force group that Logan tells Alexis about the Silverstone Towing group or is it a different group? If it's a different group, do they have a series/what's the name of it?

Susan Stoker thank you for giving me a try! :) I know there are a ton of authors out there to choose from. And I believe the Deltas they're talking about are from my Delta Force Heroes series...(the books that start with Rescuing). I don't remember exactly as it's been a while since I wrote that series though. :) (And don't forget to read Mountain Merncenaries when you're done with Ace Security (they're also in KU) ~Susan

I'm almost finished with SHIELDING DEVYN, and I must say that I'm a little disappointed. Where is the African-American heroine in this story? I assumed it would be Devyn, but not with the blonde hair, blue eyes and pale skin. I own almost every single book you have written, but this one let me down.

Susan Stoker Yeah, I misspoke when I answered your earlier question, I apologize. Shielding EMBER has a Black heroine!
