Honestly? It all started a few years ago when I was trying to find things that made me happy. I was in a rough patch of my life mentally and so I decided to get back into writing short stories. After a while, I decided I wanted to take a crack at writing a story form the POV of a villain.
It was one of my more favorite things I had ever written. Some time passed by and I decided to expand on it. Doing that led me to create a plot for a full scale novel. Doing that led me to creating an entire world. Doing that led me to creating a plot that just so happens to be the one I will be exploring in the Age of Shadow Saga.
Ascension is the beginning of that story.
