asked:
Question: Is this book entirely work-related and use entirely corporate examples? (I've just started the audiobook, and looked at chapter titles, and can't tell.) Or does it address other areas of life, or even competing priorities from different areas of life? (I'm not interested in continuing if it's entirely about prioritizing tasks in corporate jobs :-/.)

It's not entirely work related- It's about a way of life, not about setting work priorities. I liked the book, but it felt too much time was spent on explaining WHY to be an "essentialist" and not enough time on HOW; needs to be fleshed out further.

primarily focused on work/business however often relates the benefits to family and personal life from more effective work habits. Wish I had read this 15 years ago while on my last and most challenging business position.

I loved this book even though I don't work a corporate job either- I took the sentiment of the stories.
My coworker suggested this one to me. She said it was much more applicable to regular daily life!
