Mo asked:

Is it necessary to start reading the book at the start of the year? Will I lose context if I start in the middle?

Kat You can start at any point in the year. I would read the preface/intro and then skip to the beginning of the month you are in. There is a different focus for each month. I HIGHLY recommend this book, especially this year.
Oliver Acosta You can start at any moment.
I think it is better to start with January, as the first three months are more about perception, wich will help you have a better pactice for the upcomming months.
Ruth Buhler I started later in the year but would read it several times a day. I eventually caught up with the right day.
Laura (Reading is a Doing Word) I skipped Jan and started in Feb. Each month is themes but you could pick it up at any point.
