Things he left open that I didn't like: --We don't see Leo reunite with the six after he flies off with Calypso --What happened to Apollo or the Spirit of Delphi --No epilogue about the seven after the war --No confirmation of Solangelo --Percy doesn't reunite with Grover or Sally PS-- Does anyone know at what moment Percy faced his fatal flaw? I can't remember or just didn't realize when it happened.

Michael Well you guys are forgetting one thing the reason why there was no epilogue in the book is because the prophecy of Seven is not over.

Seven half-bloods shall answer the call,
To storm or fire, the world must fall,
An oath to keep with a final breath,
And foes bear arms to the Doors of Death

Only three line of the prophecy is completed in the end of the book Blood of Olympus.
The seven (Percy,Annabeth,Jason.Piper,Leo,Frank, and Hazel.)
To storm or fire (Jason and Leo)
An oath to keep with a final breath (Leo oath to Calypso)
But foes bear arms to the doors of death? WHO

This line of the prophecy is never completed. You guys will probably say yes it was in book four when Hazel and Leo defeat the immortal labyrinth women and the giant Cytisus or by Bob and Damsen.
Guess what they don't count because prophecies follow in chronological order so since these event happen before the (oath to keep with a final breath) this means there is still another threat.
My best guess it has something to do with the only giant that survives in the blood of olympus and at the same time one of the most powerful giants.

That right Alcyoneus is still alive and yes this is really bad. Was he not killed by the demigods and immortals in greece. The answer is no since he is never once mention in the book Blood of Olympus even though he is one of the strongest giants and the same height as Porphyrion. As well if he was reborn in Greece that mean he can not die unless he is move to another place or lifted in the air. So what does that mean he did not get out of Tartarus well no since the Titan Hecate told to the heroes of Olympus that all the giants got out from Tartarus except the anti-Hecate giant who just got killed at that moment. So where is he most likely he was reborn in USA waiting to receive orders from GAIA when she wakes up to properly destroyed the weekend camp in NEW Rome.

So this is bad because Alcyoneus has knowledge on the doors of death since he is the anti Hades. So if a third party wanted to get the doors of death for his own purpose like (Setne, Kronos, and Loki) or all three in an alliance. This giant will be really to help to get pay back on the God and demigods who killed his mother and brothers. Also once last point to note in the two shorts stories of the crossover of the Kane chronicles and the heroes of olympus series it shows that Setne is planing something to do with the Greek gods and heroes and the Egyptian gods and sorcerers.

Does this mean that there be a possible alliance with the bad guys to screw up every immortal on earth and might now be in alliance to get revenge maybe but once thing for sure this is not the end of the Heroes of Olympus series after the Asargian series there might be one more series that will have to do with the Greek, Roman, Egypt, and Viking heroes. Dealing with the new threat of the Foes who bear arms to the door of death.
Manasvi I think it was left open so (crossing my fingers) Rick could comeback to it maybe. We maybe able to see these characters again. I hope.

Shima Percy didn't face his fatal flaw, so basically that whole talk about him ruining the quest was crap!
I never like authors who answer every question but here Rick skipped over so many things that it didn't even feel like an ending to me. I had better closure at the end of the last olympian, even though the next big prophecy was stated there!

Shaniah I have a feeling that Percy and the crew will be part of the next series that's why it was left open.
Carla Viteri I'm voting for more books! Surelly that is why Rick Riordan left it open! :)
