What’s the best thing about being a writer?

Craig Rainey Writing is an outlet for me. When I was in the film business, I didn't work to see myself on the screen. I worked because I loved the process and the work. Writing is the same thing for me. Taking a story from scrawled notes to published work is a pleasure and a lift to my soul. In life we all build monuments. Some are flat markers and others are the Washington Monument. I am hoping for something in the middle.
