How do you get inspired to write?

L. Reynolds Andiric I have always written. I was the editor of my high school newspaper. I journal (although not daily) to remember as fully and completely as possible experiences I have had – good or bad. I have catharsed and put on paper my feelings - only to destroy the end product later but none-the-less feeling better and more settled for the effort. Writing it down helps me to stabilize my opinions and where I stand on controversial issues. It soothes me when I’m angry, preserves my happy times and puts things in perspective when I’m confused.
