A real head-scratcher is when Mo returns to Big Bear to see Burns and Kyle and ends up staying up there overnight. Anyone else find it outrageously unlikely that Mrs. Kaminski wouldn't be crawling out of her skin with worry that her 16-year old only child (who very recently almost died!) never came home last night? Please, if I missed the passage explaining all this, fill me in. Thanks!

We don't really know what transpires between Mo and Mrs. Kaminski because we are so invested in the developments of all of the other characters. It also didn't bug me as much (I had a little eye roll moment of like yes here we go with the sex and being alive thing), but since I hated The Lovely Bones sooo much for a reason similar to this, I still thought that instance in The Lovely Bones was way more annoying, so it was easier for me not to focus on this one too much.(less)
