Okay, we all knew that they would be together at the end but why?! I literally do not understand it, did they just end up together because they were both griefing and were trying to fill that void? Did Bella know they would end up together, it's confusing? And someone help and actually explain to me the ending!

If you reread the chapter at the end where she wakes up in the apartment you might see things you missed. Dannie mistook the strong feelings she felt at the beginning of the book in the vision for love. She thought that strange, unique, and weird feeling must be love for this guy, but it wasn't. It was in fact grief, which she had never ever dealt with before and therefore didn't recognize it when she had her vision dream. (less)
