**SPOILER ALERT** Was anyone able to figure out the meaning of the argument that Toddie overheard with the male voices and the woman saying "stop"? I just finished the book and am a bit confused by this part. Thank you!

Cassie One of the major plot holes in this story. (I don't think Toddie overheard it, but Margie/Maggie who had the farm and the dog).

I wonder if it had something to do with Buddy Bright? He made a mention about the watcher becoming the watched. I feel like there was more to his story than just a convict hiding in plain sight.(less)
