Hi, there! I’ve read everything you’ve written that I remotely know of! I’m grateful for the enormous body of work you’ve created and the themes you discuss. Thank you so much. I’m excited to dive into The Physicians is Vilnoc and I’m wondering: are there plans for it to come out as an audiobook? I do most of my reading with my ears, these days. Please forgive me if this question has already been addressed.

The story is so new, it's barely been submitted to Blackstone, but we certainly intend to do so. I expect they will want to license it as usual.
When the contract actually comes through, I'll likely mention it on my blog, but really, the pertinent news will be later on when they have a release date. I would assume Blackstone's business is as disrupted as everyone else's at the moment, so you probably need to build some extra time into your expectations.
Glad you enjoy my work, in whatever format!

I'm 66 and have been diagnosed with macula degeneration. I've begun listening to audiobooks to allow my eyes to rest. I'm not sure what I'll do as a writer, however, if my eyesight fails. You've mentioned some eyesight problems, too, Lois, and I wonder if you've tried any software to help writing that is not so taxing on your eyes? Have you tried dictation software, or other helps?

I have a friend who was the Easter Seals child when she was three. They put a new valve in her heart every 5 years, and each time they told her and her family that she would be unlikely to survive the five year life-span of the valve. If you were in a very quiet room with her, you could hear the valve clicking. When you could not hear it, it was not closing right and she would have to be scheduled for another replace?
