You've mentioned dealing with insomnia, do you ever write during that time? If so, have any memorable scenes or ideas come together as a result of your sleeplessness? Or is the causality the other way around? Can you not sleep sometimes because your mind is too busy trying to solve things to sleep? I'm betting on the latter because Miles.

Alas, I do not create during my insomnia. I mainly lie there and fume.
It also steals my creative and writing brain the next day, because of the deep fatigue, headache, and body ache that result from too little sleep. Sleep meds help general function, when they work at all, but then have drug hangovers the next day that also rob me of higher brain function, so there's no win there.
Insomnia. Sounds dramatic, actually sucks. Not recommended for writers.

Hi, Lois - you’ve referenced your love of manga a couple times. What are some of your favorite titles? I like it, but don’t often find one I can really sink into, as with a good novel — the last being the scanlation of Yokohama Shopping Trip / Quiet Country Cafe (which I’d highly recommend). Thanks.

Not a question but a huge thank you. Since lockdown began I have been rereading as much of the Vorkosigan saga as I could lay my hands on. Between Amazon, Baen, the local library electronic downloads, and copies I already owned, I think I have reread them all, not necessarily in order and some for the 3rd time, and they have provided wonderful escape when the news became too dreary. Any more Miles adventures coming?
