reading is my hustle i'm not sure there is anything to "get" other than this is a story about a marriage that was struggling to right itself. juliet/michael decide to live…morei'm not sure there is anything to "get" other than this is a story about a marriage that was struggling to right itself. juliet/michael decide to live by sea for one year & as the story progresses we learn more of their backstory. <spoiler>sadly, they are unable to finish their adventure b/c michael gets dengue fever & dies. juliet is visited by the police after michael dies & is questioned about the man (harry b.) who sold them their boat because he is missing. throughout the narrative there was some weirdness between harry & michael b/c they were co-owners of the boat & harry was determined to sell it (michael didn't want to sell it but he also doesn't have the money to buy harry out). after the police question juliet she begins to question whether michael had something to do with harry's disappearance based on a few of michael's ship log entries. in the end, harry is found & so it was all very anti-climatic. it's suggested that harry (& later we are shown through emails) maybe had the beginnings of dementia/paranoia & that is why he badgered michael so often)</spoiler>(less)
