Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Arinn Dembo I've had family living in Knoxville, Tennessee for many years. My first memorable visit was in 1982, when I went during the World's Fair, but I eventually returned to live there full-time in my 30's, when I attended the University of Tennessee to get my degree in Anthropology. The book I'm currently writing grew out of my love for the history and people of eastern Tennessee and the Smoky Mountains.
