Everything inspires me to write! Writing is one of my major responses to stimuli.
I write when I'm happy, sad, angry, curious, playful, or scared. I write sometimes to explore an idea or to vent my pain.
I also write because ideas, stories and characters pop into my head, and sometimes they absolutely will not go away until I write them. So...it's kind of a rite of exorcism.
