Mitchell asked Marilyn Foxworthy:

In the Jensen Family of books series is there a order of books that i should be reading the book in? love the this series some times its hard to keep track of all the time lines and member of the family and there friends.

Marilyn Foxworthy My opinion is that any of the series can be read in any order. If you read The Shrine Maidens first, you see hints about Mark's brother, Robby, but don't learn much about him. If you read The Sea Nymphs first, you meet Robby and a few of his family, but don't get the back story. I don't think that matters. It's the same with the Honest Attractions series. Of course, if you want the timeline, it would be: The Girls on the Hill, then The Sea Nymphs, then The Dark Atoll, then The Nogud. But to me it doesn't matter. And, several parts of the stories haven't been published yet but are still hinted at in some of the books. Sometimes I don't even know the complete history when I start to write a new book. I think the series can be enjoyed in any order.
