Hello! Huh - I never really thought about those two together. They do have an interesting love/hate relationship and it might have been possible. With my books, I don't plan the story in advance and just discover the plot and characters as I write, so there might have been some subliminal romance you're picking up on. I know many of my readers want to read more about the Healer characters after the last book and I'm considering doing some short stories....when I have time! ;)

I saw the question you answered about Poison Study and YA and I was wondering if you had any plans for writing more adult fantasy in the future? I absolutely adored Poison Study and it still stands as one of my favourite books of all time. I have read and loved most of your books, but I miss the passion and darker tones that were present in Poison Study and that really took it above and beyond for me.
