I saw the question you answered about Poison Study and YA and I was wondering if you had any plans for writing more adult fantasy in the future? I absolutely adored Poison Study and it still stands as one of my favourite books of all time. I have read and loved most of your books, but I miss the passion and darker tones that were present in Poison Study and that really took it above and beyond for me.

Maria V. Snyder Hello Shayla, I am working on a new fantasy series that is planned for a late 2019 release in Australia and they're thinking of marketing it as an adult fantasy. I just finished it and sent it in, so I haven't heard if that's still the plan. I do think my Healer series is a bit darker overall. Touch of Power is the first one.
