Mark Miano
Mark Miano asked Lawrence Wright:

What is the process you go through for finding the topic that you want to write about next? What is the feeling you get that tells you, “Yeah, this is what I want to spend the next year of my life on!” Has that feeling ever failed you?

Lawrence Wright Mark, I'm in that moment right now. I suppose it's true for most writers, but what to write next is the greatest problem I face. occasionally, someone will propose a project that seems exactly right for me at the moment. My last book, "God Save Texas," was suggested by my editor at The New Yorker, David Remnick, who asked me to "explain" Texas. I wish somebody would come up with a new one for me now.
