Hi Mr Dugoni, I met you in Dallas & I love all your books. For the longest time I resisted reading THE EXTRAORDINARY LIFE OF SAM HELL but for the life of me I cannot tell you why. I did finally pick it up and start reading it and I am so glad I did as it was awesome and I loved it!!! My question is: Why do you think authors use pseudonyms/pen names?

Robert Dugoni I don't really know. It could be they want to keep their private lives private, but I've never really thought that to be problematic. I know some with really long last names that just don't look good on a book cover and so they shorten or change their last names.

I loved The Extraordinary Life of Sam Hell. I just scrolled down to see that this will be made into a movie. I look forward to seeing it, but movies rarely do the book justice. Your character development left me missing Sam, Mickie, and Ernie after I turned the last page. I had developed a relationship with each one. Who would you choose to play these characters in a movie?
