I am reading your books in order and have just finished What Came Before He Shot Her. I am in awe of your transition from a 20 year series line to an incredibly deep and intimate backstory of another hero. What encouraged you to delve into this story? Is this tactic something that you would consider doing again? I applaud your bravery, as well as your skill in that endeavor.

A comment---thank you for the answer, because I too haven't been able to read What Came Before He Shot Her. I've read the books that follow it, but just couldn't get past the trauma. So I'll consider reading it. When will the next Lindley adventure be available?
