Carolyn Wait for the library copy. I read the ebook from the library over two days. In my opinion, this one is not worth buying.

Susan I bought this as an audiobook. I often lack the concentration to keep up with audiobooks, but Anne Tyler's gentle, almost conversational, writing style works very well in audio format. I'm about half-way through this novel and am loving it.

Kim Anne Tyler is one author whose books I buy and keep, but I found this title on a one-week loan on Libby today! I will definitely buy the book, but can take my time now.

Ellen Bergland I listened to this short novel and was again amazed at Anne Tyler’s ability to draw the reader to world she creates. The world in this novel is filled with quirky characters I can see and understand, laugh at and want to shake hard to get them to embrace what’s right in front of them.
Tyler is amazing.

Anna It is a relatively short book and therefore can be a swift read. Having just finished it and would definitely want to read it again it was that kind of book for me.

Marilyn No don't buy this book. I got so excited that she had published again that I didn't want to wait for the library and ran out and bought it. I didn't care for it. Ugh.

Susan You should read it first, but I loved loved loved it, more than most of her others, and although I read a library copy, I will be buying a hard copy for my shelves!
