Do you feel that Bree Taggert is a completely different character than you’ve previously written about, such as character development, past, family dynamics, her role in her future self?

I think of all my characters as very different people. Their personalities must be reflected in how they've responded to their backstories. How each event influenced and changed them. Bree is a survivor and a protector. These personality traits were formed through the tragedies she experienced in her childhood. They will continue to drive decisions and create conflict in future books even as she evolves.

Hi Melinda. I love your books and writing style. Mogan Dane’s series has been one of my favorite thriller series. Bree’s also has me very intrigued and I’m looking forward to read the next book on the series. I was wondering how do you come up with the killers characters? Your books would be a fantastic tv series.
