Do you do research for your books. And how do you develop your characters?

Melinda Leigh I do an enormous amount of research for each book. For me, this isn't a hardship. I've always been a nerd. I actually enjoy research. I don't feel like I need to work for my character to develop. That part seems to come naturally to me.
