The picture that Mia gave Trip is green tendrils growing out of the holes of his hockey chest pad. What she wanted to say is that it's all right to be vulnerable, and it's all right to take time and see what grows. Could anyone explain why Mia would give this portrait of him? Because maybe I miss it but I didn't read much about Trip except for his relationship with Pearl.
