I won't have read this book if I had known that the first mystery would not be solved. I dislike intensely books that do this. What is your opinion?

He was so hung up on trying to figure out what happened, he never got around to figuring out much how it affected him. He's not getting that happy ending because he doesn't know himself. And you can know yourself now in the present whether or not you know the details of your past.(less)
