Hey Mr. Dalglish Was just curious, with Covid-19 forcing most people to stay home will your near-future publications be quickened or slowed? Are you on track, etc? Basically is Covid-19 having an effect on you or the writing? Thanks
David Dalglish
Oh it's absolutely not helping in the slightest. Some of it is practical (my three children are all home now, and require home-schooling programs set up by the school). Some of it is mental (sure, lemme just focus on my silly fantasy world while stuck in quarantine, my friends are posting messages about their illnesses, book stores are closing down for who knows when, etc). And of course, once I do finish it and send it for edits, there's going to be the likely additional delay from my editor's side (who of course is going through similar issues).
After the long, long wait for book 8 I'm still desperately trying to get the book out on time, and focus on getting in my daily writing time. That's all I can really do. Fingers crossed, it'll be enough.

Hello! I love your books. The Paladins is my favorite series of yours and one of my all time reads. I was wondering, do you ever consider writing a book or series that focuses on the plight of the werewolves? I became very invested in Redclaw’s story and his mission to have a better world for his people and pups. Redclaw also showed great awareness at then end and I hope the wolves may one day be given a chance.

I always wondered, did you get any inspiration for the Towers defending against the Vile Wedge along the Rigon in Mordan from "Game of Thrones" and it's wall of ice? In Dezrel it is Man/Towers against Vile Creatures/Vile Wedge and in Game of Thrones it is Man/Wall against Wildlings/White walkers.
