Deceptions of Chenille was born from my desire to read a suspenseful book that didn't focus on violence, and did portray women as strong characters. Crime thrillers are too graphic, although I like the puzzle solving. Romance novels are too cheesy, and often depict woman as weak, and needing their men for personal fulfillment. I wrote I book that I would like to read.
