Judy Lindow Well the main character gets abducted a lot and there's a lot of dirty old man talk but she's feisty and survives it all. She's the kinda of gal that's always thinking of a plan and has a strategy.
Jackie Carreira Yes, it's fine. If you loved Rebecca, you'll love this too. Very different kind of story but just as gripping.
Gretchen You are the perfect age to read this book! It's got adventure, romance, mystery, shipwrecks... I would have loved it at 13! Also, the lead character is an independent and smart young woman!
Jenna Hi, Nitya. I think the book is perfectly suitable if you'd like to read it, as far as I can remember, there is no inappropriate content other than some violence. Daphne du Maurier is one of my favorite authors, and I started reading her books when I was around your age so I think it's appropriate.
