Hi N.K., in THE HUNDRED THOUSAND KINGDOMS and the BROKEN EARTH series, ancient beings (Sieh and Hoa) take the corporeal form of children and form very close, almost maternal relationships with key female characters. I'd love to know more about why this dynamic seems to recur in your writing? Thanks for writing!
