What’s your advice for aspiring writers?

Victoria Caro This is a tricky question because we are all in it for different reasons or expectations. If you want to write for the love of it, then there is no other advice than “just do it”. Second-guessing your qualifications, acceptance, potential for success, and so on, is unproductive and irrelevant. So, sit down and start writing to your heart’s content. However, if you are hoping to make money, and don’t have a strong player in the industry to back you up, then it is no different than setting up a small business on your own with an extraordinary amount of competition, hoping to turn a profit. Be ready for a lot of hard work, not ALL of it fun, but certainly worth it, if you believe in the product and yourself!
